Who is Koloa?

Koloa, Hawaiian for "duck" was presented to me as a gift for playing the ukulele at a Christmas party at Dukes in Malibu CA. Koloa has a very "stylish" Hawaiian shirt that makes him look rather attractive compared to all the other male ducks anywhere he travels. Now, knowing that ol Koloa is waaay too cool to just be hanging around Sylmar waiting for the good flying to return, I decide to send Koloa south for the winter ............ Way south.

Since Chris Smith is in Australia, I phoned Chris to see if Koloa could visit and maybe Chris could show him around a bit. He said he'd take good care of him so off he went. Koloa had to go north to Seattle first since Chris is up there visiting. He leaves on the 27th (tomorrow).
